Role Overview
Work with tax team members and external advisers to prepare and manage indirect tax compliance for the Americas regions.
Partner with external advisors to prepare indirect tax filings for the Americas regions.
Perform quarterly and annual procedures related to SOX compliance.
Support data gathering and preparation of responses for indirect tax audits for the Americas regions.
Assist on cross-functional projects, accurately capturing advice, interpreting its impact to Pinterest, and disseminating in a concise and understandable manner to key stakeholders.
Monitor the tax landscape and help to determine the impact to Pinterest.
Build, maintain, improve, and automate tax-related processes.
Prioritize workflow to ensure timely delivery of work products.
Use AI to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in existing tax workflows, and build or enhance automations to improve speed and accuracy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting or equivalent experience such as 3+ years of relevant tax experience with Big 4 public accounting preferred.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and take responsibility for deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
Collaborative work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented culture.
