Directs and integrates activities of work groups to support safe and efficient management of radiological & industrial safety
Manages activities and provides oversight for coordination, planning, & execution of work activities to meet Federal, State, Company, and Site requirements
Manages and directs facility's Radiation Protection Program, ensuring communications and compliance
Conducts management walkthroughs and surveillances to enforce standards
Represents S&H Department on radiological protection issues externally and internally
Develops and implements business planning systems to efficiently utilize resources
Provides management leadership to ensure a safety and total quality culture for the facility
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and progressive related experience; or Associates degree and progressive related experience; or High School Diploma or GED and a combination of secondary education and/or related experience
Nuclear experience is required.
4+ years nuclear experience, preferably in the Liquid Waste and/or DOE Complex
Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certified
