Role Overview
- Oversee maintenance operations at Hilton Head's newest vacation ownership resort
- Build and lead the maintenance team supporting hospitality services provided to owners and guests
- Supervise and maintain the upkeep of the property
- Serve as the main source of contact for inspection agencies including Fire Safety, Water Safety, and Employee Safety
- Maintain an organized work area
- Complete monthly inventories and set par levels with Resort Managers approval
- Supervise and perform maintenance and repair work on swimming pool facilities and related equipment
- Determine material, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete tasks
- Assign painting, electrical and plumbing issues, waste management and landscaping duties to employees
Requirements
- Associates or bachelors degree in facilities/property management
- Experience in a manager-level resort maintenance role
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in building and facilities maintenance
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification
- HVAC certification
- OSHA certification
- Hazardous material handling training within six (6) months of hire date
- One (1) year experience in the care, maintenance, and repair of large, commercial, or public swimming pools and associated equipment and facilities.
- Ability to perform maintenance duties, such as plumbing, electrical, construction, appliance repairs, painting and pool maintenance
- Ability to multi-task and handle all maintenance issues
