Lead the full lifecycle of fleet operations—from acquisition through remarketing—ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance, and industry best practices.
Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders to support strategic planning, policy development, and long-term fleet success.
Partner with Element teams (Client Success, Strategic Advisory Services, and Commercial) to deliver insights and strategies that reduce total cost of ownership and liability.
Act as the escalation point, resolving complex issues with a solutions-driven approach.
Analyze fleet data to identify risks, opportunities, and improvements in cost, safety, sustainability, and compliance.
Communicate results and recommendations through reports, presentations, and business reviews.
Oversee day-to-day fleet operations—including ordering, budget, licensing, driver communication, and compliance—by coordinating with Element service teams and third-party partners.
Ensure accurate reporting and decision-making by maintaining inventory records across systems.
Draft communications to drivers and managers, reinforcing program updates, policies, and best practices.
Support driver onboarding and change initiatives such as policy rollouts, supplier transitions, or safety campaigns.
Mentor Associate Fleet Managers, building their knowledge and confidence in client service and operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered.
5–7 years of relevant experience in client account management, fleet operations, or B2B service delivery, preferably within a complex service or logistics environment.
Demonstrated success in managing client relationships within a consultative, service-focused model.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and support others in a collaborative, team-based environment
without direct performance management responsibilities.
Proficient in using data and performance metrics to identify operational improvements, monitor program health, and deliver measurable client value.
CAFM (Certified Automotive Fleet Manager) certification is required or must be obtained within 18
24 months of hire.
Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, and fleet management systems is strongly preferred.
Bilingualism in French is an asset. Candidates with current CAFS or CAFM designation are strongly preferred.
