About this role
Role Overview
- perform project planning, design, contracting, and construction management functions on wetland, riparian, and associated habitat restoration projects
- field survey, engineering design, drafting with AutoCAD Civil 3D, project bidding, field inspection, and construction management
- work closely with local, state and federal personnel, private landowners, and other conservation partners
- travel throughout Michigan and Ohio as required
Requirements
- B.S in Civil Engineering or an equivalent degree from an EAC/ABET accredited engineering program
- preferred minimum of 2 years’ experience in civil engineering design
- registered EIT preferred
- experience with Civil3D, hydrology, hydraulics, civil design including structures and pump stations, erosion control, construction inspection and project management
- demonstrated oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- self-motivated and goal oriented
- ability to work with and solve problems in team-based relationships
