perform project planning, design, contracting, and construction management functions on wetland, riparian, and associated habitat restoration projects
field survey, engineering design, drafting with AutoCAD Civil 3D, project bidding, field inspection, and construction management
work closely with local, state and federal personnel, private landowners, and other conservation partners
travel throughout Michigan and Ohio as required
Requirements
B.S in Civil Engineering or an equivalent degree from an EAC/ABET accredited engineering program
preferred minimum of 2 years’ experience in civil engineering design
registered EIT preferred
experience with Civil3D, hydrology, hydraulics, civil design including structures and pump stations, erosion control, construction inspection and project management
demonstrated oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
self-motivated and goal oriented
ability to work with and solve problems in team-based relationships
