Engineer Grade 4

Role Overview

• Coordinate work activities with other engineers and personnel of other departments.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and productive performance of work.
• Acquire familiarity with applicable rules and procedures established by departments such as permitting and tagging procedures.
• Ensure that all proper tools, equipment, and material are available for job assignments.
• Utilize equipment and materials properly, including returning material to inventory.

Requirements

• Gr. 4 Engineering education as evidenced by a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
• Must have demonstrated capabilities, interest and aptitude for the work of Engineer, Grade 4.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license to operate motor vehicles.
• Must pass the minimum physical requirements as prescribed by Eversource.
• Must have demonstrated personality traits such as accuracy, initiative, judgment, originality and attention to detail.
• Must have demonstrated qualities of leadership and the ability to plan work for, to coordinate and direct the activities of, and to work with individuals and groups engaged in engineering and technical activities.
