About this role
Role Overview
Own and scale the company’s People strategy across hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee experience during a high-growth phase
Partner closely with executive leadership and department heads to translate business goals into headcount plans, org design, and people priorities
Lead end-to-end recruiting strategy, including hiring frameworks, workforce planning, and bar-setting across GTM, Product, and Operations
Build and standardize hiring processes, role definitions, scorecards, and interview practices to ensure consistency, fairness, and high talent density
Develop and maintain clear metrics and dashboards for hiring, retention, performance, and engagement; regularly report insights to leadership
Design and implement scalable onboarding, performance, and manager enablement programs that support fast, effective ramp-up
Coach and support hiring managers and people leaders on interviewing, feedback, performance conversations, and team development
Own foundational people infrastructure, including job leveling, documentation, policies, and tooling as the company scales
Serve as a steward of company culture and values, ensuring they are reflected in how we hire, develop, and retain talent
Requirements
8+ years of experience in People Operations, Talent, or HR, including experience operating at a Director or equivalent senior level
Proven experience partnering with executives and senior leaders in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment
Strong judgment and ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution when needed
Deep experience building and scaling recruiting and people systems from early-stage to growth-stage
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization
Comfort owning ambiguity and setting direction where processes don’t yet exist
Experience with modern ATS and HR tooling (e.g., Lever, Greenhouse, HRIS platforms)
Experience supporting both GTM and technical organizations
