Manage the Studio with accountability for client solutions resource utilization, project delivery, quality, and profitability. Conduct weekly staff meetings.
Manage Studio budget and track performance of project teams against approved business plan; initiate corrective action as required to achieve targets for profitability, billings, and collections.
Develops annual revenue targets, capacity budgets, and business plans in consultation with the Business Unit Director and Practice Group Managers.
Drive (local) office marketing activities, review all proposals, and contracts to ensure consistency with country’s approved business plan with adherence to the Arcadis professional standards and policies.
Competent in leading large complex full-service projects with long-term solutioning and ongoing client relationships.
Develop and coach Studio members to achieve high performance, growth, and personal development.
Interface with GOPS (including BPO, DtR, MEPC, and Quality) to drive continuous improvement.
Make recommendations on the recruitment, hiring, discipline, and staff reductions in consultation with senior colleagues.
Support the growth objectives of the Country Practice Group: develop, implement, and execute innovation and effective solutions for projects (working in collaboration with the Growth team)
Facilitate cross-Studio collaboration
Mentor and coach team members and future leaders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or post-graduate qualification and/or fellowship in an appropriate professional institution
Professional Interior Designer, Registered Architect, or equivalent preferred
Deep expertise in a key service line and sector
Substantial experience (10 years or more) in a discipline, including 5+ years' experience in Engineering/Infrastructure consultancy
Experience leading and implementing complex business change solutions
Experience managing business relationships at executive level
Experience managing teams across geographies
Significant experience on large-scale/highly complex projects
