Enter, update, and maintain HR records in the Human Resources databases and employee files.
Enter paid time off requests, review database for accuracy.
Enter status changes for new hires, terminations, and wage increases for office hourly personnel in a confidential personnel database.
Schedule interviews for factory, office hourly and salary positions.
Perform pre-employment reference checks.
Prepare job offer packets.
Order Crown approved hiring materials.
Answer routine questions concerning company policies, programs, and procedures.
Administer Service Award Program.
Various tasks include filing, copying, printing, and arranging any additional equipment needed for meetings.
Administer uniform program, including ordering of new uniforms, verifying invoices and handling employee concerns.
Participate in new hire orientation, conduct employee insurance orientation sessions covering company medical, dental, life insurance and disability plans.
Administer safety shoe program, including maintaining database and payroll deduction database.
Oversee hospitality and catering events to include scheduling, communicating, organizing, set up and break down.
Schedule conference rooms.
Switchboard coverage as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
5-7 years related experience
Must have valid drivers’ privileges
Occasional travel and overnight stays
Prior experience working in Personnel or Human Resources preferred
At least two years’ experience performing clerical duties for a managerial position in Production preferred
Associate’s degree in human resources, business or similar preferred
Good computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
Prior experience with Success Factors preferred
