Develop and execute plans for new or enhanced generation projects
Responsible for resource allocation, schedules, cost and technical adequacy, ensuring the project or transaction is completed
Manage all aspects of the business deal and ensure project completion on time and within budgetary constraints
Lead and coordinate key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations
Coordinate due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects
Act as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnection
Construct contractual arrangements for project development
Negotiate agreements with consultants and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
Foster external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
Identify opportunities and negotiate power sales contracts
Requirements
3-5 years of consulting, banking or finance experience with a strong passion for the energy industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high ownership mentality
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence across all organizational levels
Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint (executive presentations)
MBA preferred
