About this role
Role Overview
Conduct research and analysis on trends in the Life Sciences market, client needs, and competitor actions.
Research existing and target accounts, identify key contacts, connect with prospects.
Partner with sector leader and client management teams to develop account plans.
Play a lead role in coordinating and delivering business development support.
Conduct background research for pitch meetings and assist with development of BD collateral.
Participate in and lead client calls and coordinate follow-up items.
Use marketing and sales information services and platforms throughout the sales cycle.
Anticipate customer needs and identify emerging projects and cross-selling opportunities.
Coordinate with Marketing and/or Client Delivery teams to execute business development opportunities.
Participate in marketing, account planning and sales pipeline meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
At least 2 years’ demonstrable experience in a business development, client-centric/client facing role.
Prior experience serving companies in the Life Sciences sector.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Go-to-Market/Sales Intelligence software tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator).
