Onboard and introduce new products to assigned wholesale distributor branch locations.
Accountable for product trainings, demonstrations, counter days, trade shows, and lead management.
Receive leads from trade shows or other sources; prioritize leads in-order-to make contact and follow up on resulting opportunities.
Maintain, updates, and utilizes CRM/SAP Mobile Sales daily activity calendars to track information, including but not limited to documenting Opportunities in that sales funnel, entering sales call activities, linking customers, ranking contractors and keeping calendars up-to-date.
Manage and track the distribution of loaner tools.
Provide support to cross-functional teams as needed.
Contributes to further adoption of EDI and VMI by Distributors within the District and the Regions.
Executes regional and corporate objectives.
Maintain monthly sales reports and business metrics; identifies business opportunities; reports on trends and new products.
Increase market growth for contractors and distributors.
Secure new business relationships and support current customers.
Responsibility for maintaining accurate reporting and metrics.
Requirements
College Degree strongly preferred
2 years product sales experience preferred
Knowledge of computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP and CRM.
Strong interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and relationship building skills
Self-motivated; able to function autonomously and as a team player
Ability to interpret and forecast changes in contractor and wholesaler buying patterns and product requirements.
May be required to travel up to 80% of the time of local travel.
