Leading and supporting a dynamic team of around four members
Collaborating with the Manager of Legal Support & Administrative Services
Assessing the evolving needs of the office
Developing staffing plans
Creating opportunities for the team’s professional growth
Providing legal support to the Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor on complex and serious files
Serving as the designated back-up for paralegals
Managing budget, recruitment, performance management, and other HR processes
Managing infrastructure needs, IT support, equipment procurement, and contract management
Requirements
Two-year diploma in a related field such as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or Criminology
Minimum of four years progressively responsible related experience such as Legal Assistant, Paralegal or any other legal administrative role within an office setting
Equivalencies considered
Requirement Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe)
Legal administrative experience required
