Role Overview
- Act as subject matter expert on the administration of defined benefit pension plans
- Engage in cross-functional planning, execution and validation of tasks related to defined benefit pension plan administration
- Calculate and validate benefits related to life events in accordance with applicable legislation
- Take part in the production and verification of annual statements
- Provide support to the DB Operations team on plan rules and other complex matters
- Take part in the various quality control and audit processes
- Review and analyse quotes, plan rules and data to ensure that information is complete and accurate
- Manage all aspect of the data upload to the source system to onboard all plan members
- Support and suggest continuous process improvement ideas
Requirements
- University degree in actuarial science or related field of study
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Defined Benefits or Group Retirement Services
- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) required for Quebec
- Expertise in working with large volume of data in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent client-centric service skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
