Role Overview
- Provide leadership coverage for the entire hospital during evening and/or night hours
- Ensure smooth and safe operations across all inpatient units
- Serve as the onsite administrative authority
- Conduct regular hospital wide rounds to assess unit needs
- Monitor adherence to all patient safety protocols
- Respond to all psychiatric and medical emergencies
- Adjust staffing in real-time based on census and acuity needs
- Collaborate closely with human resources department on employee performance matters
Requirements
- Current RI license as RN
- Four years experience in psychiatric nursing
- At least two years management experience
- Bachelors degree, Masters Degree in Health Care Field strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and flexibility
