Serve as the agency’s budget officer, guiding the full budget lifecycle from development to ongoing monitoring
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the agency’s budget
Deliver advanced fiscal analysis that informs strategic planning
Assess financial trends and their impacts
Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations

Six years of progressively responsible experience in budget preparation, analysis, and administration
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field may substitute for three years of experience
Graduate-level degree may substitute for four of the six years
Full life-cycle budgeting expertise
Advanced skills in budget development, execution, expenditure monitoring, and forecasting
Advanced Excel expertise, including pivot tables and complex formulas
Ability to translate raw data into clear presentations
Experience with State or Comparable Financial Systems
Advanced analytical and fiscal modeling skills
Effective communication of financial information in formal settings
Exceptional documentation and organizational skills
Collaborative and customer-service-oriented approach
