Role Overview
responsible for the onboarding of new alternative instruments into FFIO
coordinating work needed to support various Asset Manager investment paths
help define new service models and drive innovation in building scalable solutions
involve documenting requirements with business partners on new instrument intake
understand the current support model and identify gaps
work with service lines and business partners to develop scalable solutions in a timely manner
collaborate with Asset Management, Legal, Risk, and Compliance on instrument readiness
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance/Accounting
at least 6-8 of those years spent in either Derivative middle or back office operations
Advanced knowledge of the alternative fund industry and hedge fund products
Detailed instrument knowledge (including Cleared and OTC Swaps, Options, Futures, Loans, and other Alternatives)
Detailed understanding of the lifecycle of the complex instruments
Experience supporting middle and back-office operations of derivatives instruments is preferred
Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and deliver cogent, informative presentations to all levels and functions of business leadership and with Business Partners
Presence and judgment to put forward well-reasoned recommendations and engage in dialogue with key decision-makers and Front Office Business Partners
Understanding of financial and accounting principles and how to apply them in business
