Prepare various monthly management and director’s reports
Prepare monthly journal entries
Reconcile various general ledger accounts
Review general ledger activity and prepare variance analysis
Assist banks with budget preparations
Assist banks with accounting issues, including questions, research, and procedures
Assist in training new bank personnel on BancFirst accounting procedures
Write accounting procedures as needed
Perform job duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office with heavy emphasis on Excel; experience with macros preferred
Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications
Strong attention to detail
Good organizational skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining a positive attitude
Strong critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with demonstrated reliability, attendance, and punctuality
Banking or accounting experience preferred
