Role Overview
- Develop working relationships with internal and external customers
- Assist with account management such as maintaining customer profiles and service needs
- Address customer questions and concerns regarding shipments, billing, and services
- Interface with airlines and shipping carriers
- Manage documents for accuracy
- Update operational/customer data in software systems
- Track orders and shipments; assist with tracing as needed
- Create and process invoices; review for operational accuracy
- Assist with running and summarizing operational reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED
- Five years of office experience in a logistics/transportation environment
- Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with internet, web-based and job specific software applications
- Ability to prepare basic reports, queries, and operational information
- Understanding of providers, carriers and services in related supply chain environments
- Ability to communicate potential concerns or delays
