Operations Supervisor

Role Overview

• Directs daily business activity and provides leadership for assigned personnel.
• Communicating with Resource Freight Planning, Inventory Management, Quality, Sales and branch management to resolve any production issues.
• Achieve performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality exceed customer SLA’s while minimizing labor costs.
• Coach and mentor team leads on leadership skills such as communication, results, accountability, etc.
• Maintain all defined 6S standards.
• Responsible for managing the administrative tasks of validating Kronos punches and correcting missed punches.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum four years related experience
• Minimum one year supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Finance or related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of work experience and education
• Working knowledge of ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations and recordkeeping
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications
