Senior Corporate Accounting Contractor

Role Overview

• Delivering assigned responsibilities supporting a timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close process
• Participate in global operational accounting activities, including the delivery of effective and efficient end-to-end accounting solutions and processes
• Accounting system and process development, implementation, and ongoing execution
• Implementation of efficient and automated systems and process solutions
• Comprehensive documentation of accounting policies and procedures
• Information and analysis to support monthly balance sheet and profit and loss (P&L) reviews that provide insight into key business drivers that are impacting financial results

Requirements

• 6+ years of global accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; Master’s Degree in Accounting preferred
• Knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) required
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and month-end accounting close required
• Experience with international operations is a plus
• Experience with external audits a plus
• Experience with international statutory audits a plus
• Prior experience within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical sectors is a plus
• Must demonstrate good judgment and mature business skills
