Delivering assigned responsibilities supporting a timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close process
Participate in global operational accounting activities, including the delivery of effective and efficient end-to-end accounting solutions and processes
Accounting system and process development, implementation, and ongoing execution
Implementation of efficient and automated systems and process solutions
Comprehensive documentation of accounting policies and procedures
Information and analysis to support monthly balance sheet and profit and loss (P&L) reviews that provide insight into key business drivers that are impacting financial results
Requirements
6+ years of global accounting experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; Master’s Degree in Accounting preferred
Knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) required
Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and month-end accounting close required
Experience with international operations is a plus
Experience with external audits a plus
Experience with international statutory audits a plus
Prior experience within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical sectors is a plus
Must demonstrate good judgment and mature business skills
