About this role
Role Overview
- Lead the U.S. Gastroenterology sales team in the Northeast region
- Achieve agreed upon sales objectives for Velsipity
- Collaborate with marketing, medical, and channel/account management
- Monitor pull through success and implement changes in collaboration with partners
- Assist in planning and execution of national and regional meetings
- Maximize connectivity & presence with key stakeholders
- Document growth goals and performance management for team members
- Ensure compliant culture at all levels regarding Pfizer policies
- Travel 40-50% of the time for meetings and field visits
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree required
- 15+ years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience
- Minimum of three years management experience leading a team
- Minimum of three years spent leading a pharmaceuticals sales team and/or developmental role
- Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred
- Proven track record of sales performance and meeting organizational goals
- Experience managing a diverse team of colleagues with different grades and responsibilities
- Proven ability to manage performance and develop talent
