Retention Specialist – Sales

Role Overview

• Responsible for retaining customers that are ‘at risk’
• Support cancellation/downgrade requests for individual and group accounts
• Attempt to determine customers’ needs/requirements and negotiate an appropriate resolution
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns through active listening, empathy, and professionalism
• Maintain effective relationships with customers
• Re-negotiate contracts to retain customer business
• Proactively contact customers identified as “at risk”

Requirements

• Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in sales or marketing preferred
• Two or more years of telesales experience, or the equivalent in related work experience
• Must have experience with customer relations and support as well as exhibit leadership abilities
