Define and implement a comprehensive parts lifecycle strategy aligned with business objectives.
Establish governance and best practices for parts setup, identification, and supersession processes.
Oversee the creation and validation of new part records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with standards.
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and customer service teams to streamline onboarding of new parts.
Develop robust processes for accurate parts identification across product lines.
Ensure consistency and completeness of parts data to support internal teams and customer-facing platforms.
Lead the management of part supersession, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication to stakeholders.
Implement tools and methodologies to track and manage part changes effectively.
Develop and execute strategies for sourcing parts that are no longer available or have extended lead times.
Build partnerships with vendors and remanufacturing providers to ensure continuity of supply and minimize downtime.
Partner with IT, operations, and commercial teams to integrate parts data into systems and workflows.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Monitor key metrics related to parts lifecycle performance and data accuracy.
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for process optimization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of experience in aftermarket parts management, lifecycle management, supply chain, operations, or product data governance.
5+ years of experience managing and leading cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, supply chain, IT, commercial, and/or customer service teams.
Master’s degree (MBA or technical discipline) with coursework in supply chain, operations, analytics, or business strategy preferred.
Experience working with ERP and PLM systems such as SAP, Servigistics, or similar platforms commonly used across in an Aftermarket organization.
Prior leadership experience in aftermarket, HVAC, or industrial manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with AI‑enabled parts identification, digital transformation initiatives, or advanced data governance tools.
Experience with forecasting and demand planning, particularly for parts or service operations.
Strong understanding of inventory, footprint, and supply continuity strategies, including remanufacturing or sourcing for obsolete or long‑lead items.
Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or other relevant certifications.
Strong expertise in data management, including master data, data quality standards, and system-driven process controls.
Experience developing and implementing process governance frameworks and driving continuous improvement.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical product data, understand BOM structure, and navigate complex ERP environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence all organizational levels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver results under deadlines, and operate in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
