About this role
Role Overview
- Support the General Manager at Vancouver International Airport
- Ensure that all store daily operating procedures are performed on a timely basis
- Promote a corporate image of excellence through a strong work ethic and leadership by example
- Maximize sales through the development and supervision of sales associates
- Provide team training, leadership, and mentorship to team members
- Ensure that team members are aware of daily sales targets & coach sales associates to improve selling technique
- Conduct store opening/closing/shift change procedures
- Maintain an ever-vigilant theft and shoplifting awareness and enforce cash register and other policies controlling internal shrink
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of retail supervisory experience
- Leadership qualities, interactive, approachable & strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Time-management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- SAP experience preferred
