Epic Applications Analyst – Patient Access

Role Overview

• System Analysis, Development, Build, and Implementation for Epic Cadence, Prelude, Referrals, and RTE
• Provide End-User Support for Registration, Billing, and Practice Management Adoption
• Develop, Support, and Maintain Documentation, Policy and Procedures
• System Testing and Acceptance
• Project Management
• Development and implementation of Revenue Cycle Best Practices

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business or a healthcare related degree and associated experience
• 5 years Application Systems Analyst experience or relevant Revenue Cycle Patient Access background (Cadence, Prelude, RTE, Referrals experience)
• Epic application certification and experience preferred
• Ability to deal with a number of tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail
• Communicate efficiently with technical team as well as managers and end users – both written and verbal
• Skilled at problem solving
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
• Possesses an understanding and high-aptitude for computer system capabilities to address process requirements
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Strong presentation skills with experience in presenting directly to management and clinicians.
