About this role

Ensure that cloud-based systems meet stringent SOC 1 SSAE 18 audit control objectives and compliance requirements
Act as the single technical point of contact for implementing and validating security controls in an AWS environment
Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools, such as Splunk, with cloud services
Work closely with security, DevOps, and compliance teams
Maintain an audit-ready posture through continuous monitoring
Shape how the organization implements cloud security controls
Work on cutting-edge AWS technologies in a regulated environment

5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or security engineering
4+ years of experience leading enterprise architecture and designing security solution integrations, including SIEM and SOC solutions
3+ years of experience with AWS security engineering
3+ years of experience leading teams in the integration of cyber capabilities in a geographically separated enterprise environment
Experience with Git, Infrastructure-as-Code tools, such as Terraform
Experience with log management and SIEM tools, such as Splunk
Experience scripting or programming using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
Experience implementing and managing cloud security controls in a production environment
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
