Provide comprehensive HR support to assigned client groups
Serve as a trusted advisor to people leaders by providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and leadership development
Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, offering timely, thoughtful, and practical support
Partner with the Recruitment & HR Coordinator to support recruitment activities and ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires
Collaborate with the HR team on initiatives that support our people strategy and organizational goals
Lead the employee engagement survey process, including coordinating survey administration, analyzing results, and supporting leaders in meaningful follow-up plans
Serve as a backup for payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and continuity
Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and compliance-related documentation
Stay current on employment standards legislation and support updates to policies and practices
Assist with the preparation of HR reports, metrics, and benchmarking data to support informed decision-making
Support organizational change initiatives
Support training and development initiatives including the coordination of training programs and tracking participation
Maintain accurate employee data within HR system and support system improvements or enhancements
Act as an ambassador of our culture and values helping to foster an inclusive, respectful and high-performing workplace
Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience in an HR Generalist role
Must have previous payroll experience in running payroll (ADP preferred)
Solid understanding of employment standards legislation (Ontario)
Previous experience on compensation is an asset
Graduate of Human Resources Diploma, CHRP designation or actively pursuing it
Ability to travel to client sites or industry events when required
