About this role
Role Overview
Design, develop, and implement structured learning paths for Baker Tilly business developers and principals.
Create and manage a comprehensive approach to assess sales knowledge and skills, identify gaps and track improvement.
Develop engaging training materials, including e-learning modules, presentations, and blended learning programs (self-study, virtual, and in-person).
Incorporate best practices from leading sales methodologies into training programs and enablement content.
Establish clear learning objectives, create project plans, and manage a rolling curriculum calendar for continuous learning opportunities.
Select methods and technologies that maximize relevance, retention, and learner engagement for remote-first environments.
Enhance sales enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot) with learning resources, messaging guides, discovery questions, objection handling, and sales plays.
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of business development-related learning initiatives using data-driven insights.
Analyze learner feedback and performance data to refine curriculum and improve learning outcomes.
Develop communication plans and content to ensure visibility and adoption of enablement programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years in instructional design, preferably in sales enablement or corporate training.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment with minimal oversight.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ideally with experience as a content creator or facilitator.
Experience creating skill assessments and competency frameworks.
Expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, Systematic Learning, Bob Pike).
Experience leading train-the-trainer sessions.
Analytical mindset with experience in measuring training effectiveness and ROI.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce), sales methodologies (Challenger, SPIN), and remote learning strategies.
