Role Overview
- Responsible for the coordination and delivery of services related to patient support programs
- Interact with patients, insurance companies, pharmacies, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide training and educational materials to patients regarding their medication
- Review, analyze, and validate information provided by patients and healthcare professionals for accuracy
- Complete follow-ups with patients on behalf of physician offices to ensure adherence to treatment regimens
- Liaise with patients, insurers, and physicians regarding documentation for reimbursement coverage
- Process data entry activities of pertinent information received during service delivery
- Provide answers to general inquiries about program services and technical product overviews
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Must be an RN, RPN, or NP with the College of Nurses of Ontario, Canada
- Must be a member in good standing
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
- Experience in the healthcare industry including medical claims, insurance verification, pharmacy or pharmaceutical manufacturers is preferable
