About this role
Role Overview
engage health care professionals (HCPs) through virtual interactions to promote assigned client product(s)
maximize the product(s)’ selling potential
develop and maintain relationships with HCPs
educate HCPs about product features, benefits, safety profiles, and approved indications
maintain competent level of product, program, and customer activity knowledge while adhering to compliance and ethical standards
manage daily sales call activity to influence customers and increase product sales
promote company products via remote engagements (telephone or video/audio outbound calls)
profile and manage targeted lists of HCPs
create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals
maintain call productivity and metrics required by the program
communicate with customers using selling, listening, and negotiation skills
verify and complete required data entry of call activity in Veeva
participate in teleconferences, virtual meetings, and live meetings as required
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college required
B2B, field pharmaceutical sales, remote sales, or medical sales experience desired
Technical aptitude to navigate meeting platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and other remote engagement software
Willingness to work in all time zones if needed
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Clear, articulate, and professional phone manner
Strong focus on supporting customer needs
Effective rapport-building skills and active listening skills
Excellent selling, closing, persuasion, and presentation skills
High levels of initiative, effort, and commitment to all aspects of the role
Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology
Self-motivated and disciplined to work independently and within a team
Good organizational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Cross-functional collaboration skills
Demonstrated proficiency and technical aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and digital meeting platforms
Ability to travel for work-related meetings and functions
