Develop, maintain, and expand key strategic relationships with Military customers and achieve sales target objectives in assigned territory
Collaborate with the customer to define their requirements and in turn, with sales and engineering/program management teams to identify a strong requirement that can be delivered profitably while meeting the customers’ expectations
Travel (continental US) is expected both individually as well as part of the sales/business development team to customers as well as customer facing venues and shows throughout the year (estimate 50-75% travel)
Pursue new and existing opportunities in core battery and charger platforms as well as targeted growth areas in larger capacity batteries and systems for both military and industrial/commercial use
Work in concert with the management team to support conferences, exhibitions, exercises, and customer engagements.
Requirements
10+ years sales and marketing -or
equivalent military experience in lieu of industry experience
Experience in the energy sector preferred
Military practical knowledge and DOD base access highly preferred
