Record and review financial transactions, post journal entries to ensure they are recorded accurately and appropriately
Assist with accounting operations, including inventory, AR and AP
Support the month-end close and preparation of financial reporting packages by maintaining the general ledger and sub-ledger accounts as needed
Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate with audit requests and requirements
Streamline account reconciliations with external vendors and suppliers
Provide support in preparing ad-hoc reporting and data analysis as needed

Relevant accounting experience with a finance team
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent education and experience
Highly motivated, detail-oriented team player who works well to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Excellent oral and written interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Enthusiastic, positive attitude and open to learning and collaboration
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Experience with Quickbooks Online or equivalent is an asset
CPA-candidate status is an asset
