Role Overview
- Provide support for terminal operational functions in employee management, safety procedures, and production operations
- Act as a leader and influencer to foster a culture of safe behaviour
- Ensure safety is the top priority for all plant users
- Develop operational plans and monitor ongoing operations for all production processes
- Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to direct reports
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions
- Perform the same tasks as members of your team
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma/certificate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year of directly related work experience
- Experience in health and safety management
- Proficiency with software (Microsoft Office)
- Able to work evening shifts, holidays, and weekends as required by operations
- Bilingual in English and French
- Legally authorized to work for Cargill in Canada
- One year of supervisory experience (preferred)
- Experience managing staff in a unionized environment (preferred)
