Act as subject matter expert for accounts payable processes, controls, and systems, including testing, updates, and reporting
Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
Troubleshoot and resolve issues; manage exceptions and escalate risks as appropriate
Support third-party shared services through guidance, issue resolution, and training
Maintain and monitor internal controls and compliance with company policies
Assist with monthly close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations
Prepare and provide reports and analyses to Finance leadership and business partners
Collaborate with Financial Accounting and International Tax on cross-functional initiatives and projects
Support the Accounts Payable Manager, Financial Accounting in a variety of other projects and ad hoc requests
Work closely with all General Managers and Business Partners on ad hoc requests
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
Proficient in English, written and verbal
Three (3) years of previous payables experience
One (1) year leadership experience
Exceptional leadership and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong knowledge of accruals and month-end close processes
Effective coaching and mentoring skills
Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
