Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated regions and business units.
Formulate partnerships across the People function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Provide advice and counsel to coworkers and leaders.
Lead People program delivery including Performance Management, Pay Planning, Succession Planning, with a focus on Employee Relations and Labor Relations.
Collaborate with leaders to align practices with business goals and foster a culture of innovation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related or equivalent work experience
6 years of HR and/or HR generalist experience
Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as required within the PG&E service territory
Demonstrated experience working with senior company leaders, including demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence leaders at the executive level.
Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. This requires an extensive background check, drug and alcohol screening, a psychological screening, and computer-based training. This position will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing on an ongoing basis as a condition of maintaining access.
