Role Overview
- Integration strategy, planning, and execution by providing project management support
- Carve-out or divestiture strategy, planning, and execution
- Operational due diligence, stand-alone costing, one-time cost development
- Synergy/value realization identification, validation, and tracking
- Development of Transitional Services Agreements
- Support client engagement teams execute integration or carve-out services
- Assist in identifying risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas
Requirements
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, PMP, CMC) or advanced graduate degree in business (e.g., MBA)
- 5-8 years of experience in professional services organization or related career tracks
- Previous management consulting experience is a strong asset
- Experience related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture transactions
- Solid understanding of integrations, separations and due diligence
- Proven track record of managing projects in diligence / integration / divestiture space
- Excellent analytical skills and confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Excellent communication skills to clients at all organization levels
- Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Experience managing teams on multiple projects
- Ability to travel within Canada and the US
