Senior Procurement Manager

Role Overview

• Drive strategic sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management initiatives across LendingClub
• Lead complex procurement efforts, partnering closely with senior business stakeholders
• Oversee the full vendor lifecycle from category strategy and sourcing through contracting
• Ensure vendor engagements deliver measurable value, reduce risk, and support long-term business growth
• Apply advanced financial and analytical modeling to identify savings opportunities and track performance metrics
• Provide guidance and mentorship to procurement team members

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management
• Proven success leading complex sourcing initiatives and cross-functional negotiations within regulated industries
• Bachelor’s degree or professional certification (CPSM, CSCP, CPM) strongly preferred; or equivalent work experience
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and executive presentation skills
• Strong project management skills
• Deep understanding of supplier risk management, contracting principles, and procurement analytics
• Familiarity with federal regulations impacting financial services
