The Registered Pharmacy Technician, Rx To Go is responsible for performing routine and non-routine pharmacy technician functions and activities related to the position.
Must be able to multi-task between multiple software programs and/or applications, handle multiple telecommunication lines, and work efficiently in all Microsoft programs.
Must be able to exercise excellent communication skills to successfully interact with all levels of internal and external parties.
Responsible for pharmacy insurance data entry and verification of insurance benefits.
Provides exceptional service to patients, staff, insurance representatives, pharmaceutical representatives, vendors and fellow employees.
Interacts in a professional manner with all contacts in order to promote effective exchanges of information.
Will be the first line of communication for inbound/outbound telephonic calls, e-mails, and internal computer program communications for the pharmacy department.
Responsible for documenting and encouraging therapy adherence under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
Maintains accurate medication information (missed doses, medication reconciliation, patient-reported side effects, and dose changes).
Responsible for ensuring that prescriptions are processed for eligible patients and properly billed to their benefit plan.
Provides support to the Revenue Manager for the day-to-day financial operations of the pharmacy.

A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education is required.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in specialty, retail, mail order, or hospital pharmacy is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred.
Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license in state of residence is required. (FL RPT)
Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) is preferred.
