About this role
Role Overview
- Conduct month‑end closing, financial analysis, and reporting for all production and operations cost centers
- Perform tasks including cost analysis, invoice coding, and monthly invoice reconciliations
- Liaise with business units to ensure documentation and costing comply with policies and standards
- Provide financial analysis support to the Controller, Manufacturing and Operations
- Collaborate in the budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation or Master’s degree in Accounting strongly preferred
- Minimum 2 years' accounting experience with solid knowledge of month‑end close processes
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and practices
- Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting
- Experience with IT tools such as SAP and SAP BI
- Hands‑on experience in SAP with the ability to navigate and extract data for analysis
- Proficient in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills
- Self‑driven, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
- Bilingual in English and French
