Review and understand detailed project documents, including scope of work, installation specifications, project schedule, project deliverables, Schedule of Values, and milestones
Coordinate project activities between the office and the site, manage project schedules, resolve scope issues, and ensure compliance with budget and technical specifications
Review and understand detailed engineering packages, and approve I&C deliverables including: P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control narratives
Prepare material submittals/requisitions and manage vendor coordination for instruments and control hardware
Perform on-site review and oversee installation activities, ensure all specifications are met and provide technical support during commissioning
Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines and liaise with clients, vendors, and contractors
Ensure all designs and installations meet applicable industry codes and standards and uphold EHS regulations
Requirements
3–6+ years of experience in I&C design, commissioning, or project engineering in a relevant industry
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
Professional Engineering (PE) License is desired or preferred
Detailed, hands-on knowledge of PLC/DCS control systems, SCADA, and industrial networks
Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar
Highly proficient computer skills; including MS Business Central, Word, Project, Excel, Outlook
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver within budget and schedule constraints
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests
