The Commercial Lines Quality Assurance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accuracy and consistency of commercial insurance policies, underwriting files, and related documentation.
This position serves as a subject matter expert in quality standards and works closely with underwriting, operations and training teams to uphold organizational expectations for service excellence and risk integrity.
Leads and maintains the Commercial Lines quality assurance program.
Develops scorecards to track and analyze premium leakage.
Conducts operational reviews for underwriters.
Identifies trends, training needs, and improvement opportunities through audit findings.
Collaborates with leadership to implement corrective actions and monitor progress.
Supports initiatives that increase straight-through processing while maintaining underwriting discipline.
Presents findings, trends, and recommendations to leadership to inform process and training priorities.
Drives continuous improvement efforts focused on consistency, accuracy, and customer experience.
Partners with training teams to integrate quality insights into ongoing underwriter and processor development programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field preferred
5+ years of experience in CL underwriting, quality assurance, or audit leadership
Certifications & Licenses CPCU, CIC, or similar designation preferred
