About this role
Role Overview
Play a critical role in driving revenue growth, supporting account strategy, and delivering technical solutions across the Western US and Canada.
Partner closely with Account Managers and cross-functional internal teams to identify opportunities, position differentiated solutions and support the full sales process.
Represent our portfolio of scientific instruments and solutions, working closely with EFS customers to understand their needs and deliver impactful, application-driven solutions.
Key component of the EFS market strategy, essential to driving growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding Thermo Fisher’s presence in a rapidly evolving market.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent experience)
5+ years' experience with analytical instruments, preferably within Environmental or Food Safety
Previous experience in technical sales, applications, service, or customer-facing technical roles preferred
Strong understanding of analytical workflows and applications relevant to the EFS market
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong collaboration, organizational, and time-management skills
Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
Must reside in the Western Region of the US, preferably Southern California
Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory
Experience delivering technical demonstrations and training
