Leads the Sourcing team for the fulfilment of Balance of Plant scope in the Project.
Main point of contact in the project for all matters related to BOP procurement and liaises with all sub-functions within the Sourcing department.
Owns project EAC and On-time delivery of the BOP Sourcing scope.
Responsible for all supply chain management activities within project for all the equipment and spare parts.
Ensures smooth hand-over of supply chain management related scope between tendering and project execution teams.
Contributes to the Sourcing Kick-off meeting process by providing BOP related sections to the PSM.
Reviews project requirements in cooperation with PTSM in ITO Sourcing and provides input to PSM for PES and updates EPP and BOP specific sections of PPR.
Verifies budget with Project Finance Manager and resolves budget allocation discrepancies.
Comments on baseline project schedule and works with project scheduler to optimize procurement schedule.
Understands the commercial part of the EPC contract and issues the project related purchasing conditions.
Ensures suppliers meet all contractual requirements related to documentation.
Ensures supplier quality/expediting has established the supplier monitoring-concept.
Responsible for ERP rollout and necessary vendor extensions for PO issuance.
Updates vendor list and ensures client’s approval in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Coordinates on
and offshore procurement activities including turnkey sub-contracts.
Controls timely issuance of purchase orders within budget.
Supports Commodity Manager in contract claim management and ensures vendor recovery.
Performs weekly meetings with key stakeholders to review procurement progress and generates weekly PO progress review minutes.
Establishes and distributes monthly progress report, cost summary sheet, and claim summary sheet.
Ensures compliance with the quality and EHS rules from the project, business, sector, and corporate within the project for Balance of Plant products.
Acts as front line leader for installation BOP parts required by sites.
Primary owner for KPIs: Project EAC, OTD.
Tracks complete and on-time delivery of technical specifications through the engineering department.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing, operations or project management
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sourcing or project management role
Ability and willingness to travel 5-10% of the time, as required
Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans
Strong analytical project management and organizational skills
