Provide leadership for the planning, implementation and operation of the organization's Safety Management System (SMS)
Lead by example to support the evolution of the safety culture in the plant
Empower employees to reduce work-related injuries and illnesses
Manage safety objectives and goals to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
Develop Safety and Health programs, systems and processes including training and coaching
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of professional safety experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment and 2+ years of relevant leadership experience OR HS Diploma or GED equivalent with 7+ years of professional safety experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment and 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
