Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy
Work with and review Statement of Work (SOW) documents
Prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes)
Review quotes, analyze results and lead negotiation plans / strategies as well as address any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes, or Raytheon terms and condition requirements
Formally document purchase orders per internal procedures
Perform routine post-award management activities
Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Able to support travel (up to 25%)
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Previous procurement experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Experience in Government procurement
SAP experience
Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Ability to understand technical requirements for procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review
Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment
Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal internal customers.
