Assist with the month-end and quarter-end close processes, including preparing routine journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support the Senior Accountant in day-to-day functions, as well as ad-hoc projects which may include bank reconciliations, accruals, and ad hoc tasks
Perform financial data entry and review supporting documentation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
Assisting in the preparation of schedules for external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
Creating and updating documentation for accounting policies and procedures.
Learn about regulatory compliance, internal controls, and the application of accounting principles (IFRS) in a dynamic, regulated fintech context.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or recently graduated within the last 6 months).
A foundational understanding of basic accounting principles (e.g., debits/credits, chart of accounts).
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
