Lead core components of the monthly close process to achieve a consistent 5–7 business day close.
Review and approve journal entries, accruals, allocations, and complex reconciliations.
Oversee preparation and review of monthly financial statements and management reporting packages.
Strengthen balance sheet governance, ensuring reconciliations are timely, well-supported, and documented.
Partner with FP&A to ensure alignment between actuals, forecasts, and departmental reporting.
Support application of ASC 606 (and IFRS 15 where applicable) for professional services revenue, including T&M, fixed-fee, multi-element arrangements, and long-term contracts.
Review revenue postings, contract data flow, and invoicing processes within Sage Intacct and related systems.
Manage preparation and review of audit schedules and coordinate responses to external auditors.
Oversee daily cash activity, working capital visibility, and banking transactions.
Directly manage and develop Senior Accountants and Staff Accountants.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibility.
Strong GAAP expertise, including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
Experience in professional services, consulting, or multi-entity environments.
Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct (multi-entity and consolidations preferred).
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a high-growth, PE-backed organization.
Advanced Excel and strong systems orientation; experience with Planful, Ramp, Ruddr, ADP, and BI tools preferred.
Strong communication skills and executive presence.
A proactive, change-oriented mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and executional detail.
