Role Overview
- Oversee all aspects of payroll tax compliance for the U.S.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of federal, state/provincial, and local tax filings
- Manage a team of 5 or more employees
- Act as a primary liaison with external vendors and internal departments
- Optimize tax processes and system integrations
- Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent
- Set goals, develop staff, manage employee performance and compensation decisions
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required
- 7+ years relevant experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent ability to negotiate and influence
- Proven experience in effective relationship management
- People management experience required
- A broad knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures
- Knowledge and experience with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, MS Word, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to balance work load and align work to resources
- 5+ year's managing teams including remote workers preferred
- CPP or FPC certification required
