The National Sales Manager is responsible for building strong customer and stakeholder relationships
Driving revenue growth, converting leads, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction
Works collaboratively with the Sales leadership team and cross-functional partners to support strategic initiatives
Expected to exercise sound discretion and independent judgment in the performance of essential job duties
Collaboratively plan and execute the sales process through discovery, consultation, and engagements
Collaborate with the Senior Director to implement and follow a plan to solicit new business
Maintain current knowledge about industry developments, competitors, and market trends
Grow booked business by 10% on an annual basis
Cultivate relationships and secure business with event organizers of trade shows, conventions, and corporate meetings
Target business with a value of five-hundred thousand dollars or greater
Achieve and maintain annual sales revenue of four million or greater
Represent Shepard at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate leads
Collaborate with Sales leadership to develop and deliver professional proposals and presentations

Minimum of 6+ years of sales experience.
Minimum of 6+ years of industry experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Possess strong business and financial acumen.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.
